Friday at the office was pretty nice. It was quiet, my coworker treated everyone to pizza, and it was a half day for me. I stopped by the mall after work to see if Express still had those earrings I lost. They didn’t and I’m really down about it. They were these simple glitter earrings, but still pretty glam. I had them in gunmetal/black, but they were also sold in white glitter. I found a similar white glitter pair on Etsy that I might try and get later on. I was also hoping to find some new sneakers after completely running my last pair into the ground, but no luck there either.
After walking around for awhile, there are now a ton of things I’ve added to my my never-ending wish list (+ my Pinterest wish list)… ugh. Here’s a list for my reference, so you can ignore this part. (I wanted to post pictures of everything, but Francesca’s and H&M don’t put everything they sell online.)
- Macy’s : Necklace and bracelet set | Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote
- Francesca’s : Large orange envelope clutch (similar) | Short horizontal leaf necklace (similar) | Wide gray belt that clasps in the front | Gold triangle dangle earrings (similar)
- H&M : Gold double-finger leaf ring (similar)
Before leaving the mall, and after sitting on a pair of one of my favorite sunglasses, I picked up some new ones at Aldo. Along with purses and heels, I also have a crazy strong obsession with sunglasses. I wanted to get some new aviators, too, since they double as awesome mirrors for when I need to check myself or reapply lipstick, haha, but I’ll save that purchase for another time.
Brian waited until Saturday morning to drive into town to see me, and although I was pumped to see him as soon as possible I think we both just wanted to rest Friday night. He got here Saturday morning and we had to run a bunch of errands. We stopped by our old apartment complex in Cary, went to Los Tres Magueyes for lunch, picked up some earrings for our aunt, then we went to the storage unit (I tried to see if my earrings might be there, but sadly they were not), and then we went to our friend Micheal’s house and hung out. We grabbed pizza for dinner and then ended the night watching movies with my auntie in her “movie room” which is the third floor of her house where she set up a projector screen.
Sunday. Today we all ate breakfast together, and I freaked out a little bit right before Brian left. That separation anxiety just sneaks up on me. We’ll be seeing each other Tuesday so I can return some important papers he left here though, haha. I’ll take any excuse to see him. We had a silly Google+ hangout date right before he went to bed, and he promised to call before he gets to work (he does that every day) and to call me while he is taking his lunch tomorrow. Looking forward to it!
I actually got a picture of us this weekend, and once again, I look terrible!
