This weekend I went to see Brian in Winston-Salem, and I really liked getting out of town. It was just a gorgeous, relaxing weekend with my baby and his family.
Brian’s dad owns a restaurant in King, NC, so his mom and I went there for lunch on Saturday. They have the best chicken tenders around, I love them! On our way, we stopped at a few yard sales, and we’ve decided we’ll make a thing of it next weekend. Brian’s mom is also going to teach me to play tennis next weekend, so I’m excited and nervous for that.
After lunch we stopped by some other shops, and an antique shop. I completely fell in love with the antique shop – the furniture, the pottery, the antique cameras – ah!
Sunday, I stuck around a bit for game day. Before I left I actually remembered to take our picture for the series. We are bad at taking pictures, but hey, this is us.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 weeks… I’m already excited to drive back this weekend!
